Public Legal Notice: VIEDA Public Hearings and Governing Board Decision Meetings Scheduled for April 16, 2026

The Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority (VIEDA) has announced that it will hold public hearings for the Virgin Islands Economic Development Commission (VIEDC) and the Enterprise Zone Commission (EZC) on Thursday, April 16, 2026, beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Pursuant to Section 717, Chapter 12, Title 29 of the Virgin Islands Code, as amended, the VIEDC will hold a public hearing for an application.

Any person interested in the approval or disapproval of an application, or who wishes to make a statement regarding an application or any other matter to be considered at the hearing, may appear and be heard. Persons wishing to provide comments must submit written notice to the Chief Executive Officer at least 24 hours prior to the hearing, stating the matter on which they wish to be heard and the approximate length of their remarks.

Enterprise Zone Commission

The Enterprise Zone Commission will also hold a public hearing for an application.

Advance registration is required for all attendees. Each participant must register individually. Attendees are advised not to share their unique registration link.

All interested persons are hereby notified that, in accordance with V.I. CODE ANN. tit. 1, § 254, as amended, decision meetings will be held following the public hearings to consider application, compliance, and/or other matters for the:

• Virgin Islands Economic Development Commission
• Enterprise Zone Commission
• Economic Development Bank

Please note that the Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority Board of Directors and its subsidiary boards may enter executive session at any time during the meetings, as permitted under 1 V.I.C. § 254.
