Centre: Man Arrested For Homicide In Yoro After Stabbing His Friend To Death On Labour Day

The National Police of Honduras reported yesterday, May 2, 2024, that a 30-year-old man from Yoro was arrested for stabbing his friend to death on Día de Trabajo (Labour Day).
According to the authorities, the victim, Orlin Guillermo Sandoval Murcia, was at home on Labour Day, May 1, 2024, celebrating when his friend (the killer) and cousin came to visit him.
Authorities said, “Suddenly the now detained man began to argue with the victim, who took a piece of glass and inflicted several wounds on him until he immediately died.”
Following investigations led by a team of agents from the Police Investigation Directorate with the support of the National Directorate of Prevention and Community Security, the killer was arrested in the La Cultura neighbourhood, municipality of Yoro, Yoro.
The 30-year-old man will now answer homicide charges.
