Charges Relate To A Large Quantity Of Drugs Found By Police At A Private Residential Complex Near Walkers Road

The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service said today, February 19, that a 29-year-old man from George Town is scheduled to appear in court today following his arrest on Thursday, February 15, after the police found a considerable quantity of drugs in the communal area of a private residential complex near Walkers Road, George Town. He has been charged with Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Supply.

The RCIPS also stated that before his arrest, the man had removed an electronic monitoring tag and refused to provide a urine specimen when requested to do so. Therefore, he was also charged with Damage to Property and Failing to Provide a Specimen of Urine.
