Virgin Islands Soca artist Big Shaw has officially released his latest full-length album, “Active,” marking what is being described as a major milestone in his musical career.

The project features some of Big Shaw’s strongest work to date, blending high-energy Soca rhythms with the authentic sound that has made him a staple in Virgin Islands culture. The album also reflects years of growth, consistency and dedication to his craft, further solidifying his place among the region’s respected entertainers.

One of the standout tracks on the album, “Call Pamela,” has been gaining significant traction across the Caribbean. The song has sparked widespread engagement on social media, with Soca influencers and fans sharing, promoting and reacting to it in large numbers, helping to expand its reach and momentum throughout the region.

A two-time Road March champion, Big Shaw has dedicated approximately 25 years to music and cultural expression in the Virgin Islands. Over that time, he has continued to help shape the local Soca scene, with contributions spanning generations and reflecting both his longevity and his ability to remain relevant in an evolving musical landscape.

Fans will also have an opportunity to see Big Shaw perform live at his upcoming signature event, Big Shaw Saturday, set for April 25, 2026. The event will celebrate his journey from his early beginnings to his current success, bringing together past and present sounds in one dynamic experience.

“Active” is now available on all major streaming platforms.
