The Progressives issued a press release dated April 26, 2024, highlighting an increase in the overall unemployment rate, including Caymanian unemployment.
Regarding Caymanian unemployment, the Progressives said 1,143 Caymanians were out of work as of September 2023.
The Progressives attributed the Caymanian unemployment to the lack of a coherent strategy for sustainable growth and jobs for Caymanians by the UPM Government.
