The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service said that at around 7.15 am today, Wednesday, March 20, police and other emergency services responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident in Cayman Brac.
The RCIPS explained that initial investigations indicated a single-vehicle collision occurred in the early hours of the morning, which resulted in the death of a female occupant.
The incident occurred on South Side Road, West of Bluff Road, in the vicinity of Beach Club. This section of the road is currently closed while police complete an analysis of the scene. The public is advised to avoid the area.
The RCIPS expresses its condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
