Police Investigate Serious Wounding Incident In George Town Loop Cayman Islands

The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service said that just after 3:30 am on Friday, April 26, police and other emergency services were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communications Centre to Eastern Avenue, George Town, where it was reported that a man who sustained a stab wound after patronising a bar located in the area ran into a business establishment for assistance.

The injured man was assisted by the Emergency Medical Services personnel and transported to the hospital, where he was treated for what is believed to be serious but non-life-threatening injuries and later released.

The police are investigating the incident, and detectives are seeking witnesses to come forward and provide information. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the George Town Police Station at 949-4222.
