Today, February 22, 2024, at the SEC Swimming & Diving Championships in Auburn, Alabama, Jordan Crooks from the Cayman Islands had an outstanding performance in the Men’s 200 Yard Freestyle.

In the preliminary race held in the morning, he placed second, clocking a time of 1:31.45, which was better than his seed time of 1:32.07, which was his personal best set at the Tennessee Invitational in November 2023 (see the below Swim Cloud data).

In the finals held in the evening, Jordan improved his performance, securing a top-three position with a new personal best of 1:31.17 in this event.

This is also a fantastic achievement as Swim Swam explained that he “made the switch to the 200 for this year,” which Swim Swam referred to as “a great call.”

Looking at the Swim Cloud data, it is inevitable that Jordan’s performance will spike even higher, leading him to set a new personal best soon if he continues with the Men’s 200 Yard Freestyle.
