FirstBank Announces Temporary Service Adjustments for System Maintenance

FirstBank has announced adjustments to its operational hours due to scheduled system maintenance, affecting branches in the U.S. Virgin Islands and the British Virgin Islands.

The temporary changes will impact in-person banking services, digital banking, and business transactions over the course of three days, from Friday, February 14, through Monday, February 17, 2025.
On Friday, February 14, all USVI branches will close at 4:30 p.m., while the BVI branch will maintain its regular operating hours. Commercial clients using Business Digital Banking should note that fund transfers will be unavailable from 4:00 p.m. on February 14 until 6:00 a.m. on February 16.

Debit cards will remain functional for purchases, payments, and ATM transactions, including ATH Móvil transactions. Credit cards will also continue to be available for purchases. Digital Banking will allow customers to view account balances, deposit checks, and issue payments, but Business Digital Banking services will be unavailable for commercial customers.
The FirstLine Solutions Center (1-866-695-2511) will continue to operate under its regular schedule, from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight.
On Monday, February 17, the BVI branch will operate under regular business hours, while all USVI branches will be closed in observance of the Presidents’ Day holiday.

FirstBank encourages customers to plan transactions ahead of time and utilize available digital banking services where applicable. Clients are advised to visit 1firstbank.com for specific branch hours and further details on service availability during the maintenance period.
