The Department of Environment, YMCA, and Cayman Islands Angling Club will host a free kids’ fishing clinic this Sunday, March 17, from 10 am to 3 pm dockside at Barcadere Marina (George Town Yacht Club), 606 North Sound Road, George Town.
According to the DoE, rods, tackle, and bait will be provided along with casting and reeling instructions. The DoE will also be on-site to chat about Marine Parks, fishing rules, and everything in between.
DoE added that raffle prizes and giveaways will be offered. Food will also be available for purchase at the George Town Yacht Club.
