Jillian Crooks achieved an impressive feat at the World Aquatics Championships in Doha, Qatar, today, Saturday, February 17, 2024. She outperformed more than 70 swimmers in the 50M Freestyle race and was the fastest among all the participating Caribbean athletes in this event.

Apart from her commendable performance, Jillian’s time of 25.79 was very close to her personal best of 25.66, which she set in the previous year’s World Aquatics Championships held in July 2023.

Given her outstanding performance, it is possible that she may achieve 25.00 in the near future.

In fact, she may accomplish this remarkable milestone during her Freshman year at the University of Tennessee, which has a training programme that could also help her break the 25.00 barrier.

Fans from the Cayman Islands are encouraged to continue to support swimmers like Jillian and all other Cayman athletes. With support, they have limitless potential for positive future accomplishments.
