These Are the 108 Aspirants Seeking Elected Office as the 2026 Election Field Takes Shape Across the Virgin Islands

The Elections System of the Virgin Islands has released its unofficial list of aspirants for the 2026 primary and general elections, showing a crowded field across the governor’s race, Delegate to Congress, legislative seats, and the territory’s elected boards.
Supervisor of Elections Caroline F. Fawkes announced the unofficial St. Thomas-St. John and St. Croix nomination petitions and papers aspirant listing as of Tuesday evening. Pursuant to Title 18, Section 420, all aspirants must be certified by the Supervisor of Elections by Tuesday, June 2, 2026.
The unofficial filings (found here and here) include several gubernatorial tickets, multiple candidates for Delegate to Congress, a long list of aspirants for the Legislature in both districts, and candidates seeking seats on the Board of Elections and Board of Education.
