Former Sports, Parks and Recreation Commissioner Calvert White was sentenced today in federal court to 60 months (5 years) in prison, followed by 36 months (3 years) of supervised release.

He will be allowed to self-surrender on March 2, 2026, at 2 p.m. Until then, the court ordered that he wear a GPS monitoring bracelet, according to Judge Mark Kearney.

Co-defendant Benjamin Hendricks was sentenced to 5 years and 8 months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release, after being convicted of honest services wire fraud and bribery concerning programs receiving federal funds. Prosecutors argued that Hendricks acted as an intermediary in the bribery scheme.
