The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service said today that a 20-year-old-man of George Town who was initially arrested by the police in 2023 in relation to sexual offences committed against a female juvenile has been formally charged with Sexual Communications with a Child, Taking a Child from Lawful Care and two counts of Rape.
Police explained that the charges were made after careful and lengthy consideration by the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
The man will appear before the court on Tuesday, April 9.
