Yesterday, June 21, 2024, the Progressives political party issued a press release stating that the Ministry of Tourism does not intend to produce a new strategic tourism plan until December 2025 and this approach is unacceptable.

The Progressives suggest that the delay is “political” and the new strategic tourism plan cannot be postponed for another 18 months while more businesses close their doors.
