The content originally appeared on: Cayman Compass

As we begin to see the light at the end of the COVID-tunnel and people are beginning to socialize once again, there’s nothing like getting out for some harmless boozy fun.

But… wait… we are in Cayman, the food and drink capital of the Caribbean, so why settle for a traditional happy hour or “been there done that” all you can drink tequilas?

We are talking beer and wine as an experience…. We are talking quality…

Here are 5 ideas- starting tomorrow…

April 27, 7pm

The Outpost at Rackhams- Beer Tasting Workshop

Beer, Cheese & Chocolate! With guest speaker, Georgia Hollis, Brewer at Cayman Islands Brewery (CIB) will speak about the art of craft beer, and guests will taste 5 uniquely different styles with prepared food pairings.

You will get to sample a delicious fresh brew from CIB while Brewer/Guest Speaker Georgia will talk in-depth about beer and the brewing process. Take a beer journey by sampling 4 different styles of imported craft beers and one local beer from Caybrew with food pairings. The speaker will go over each unique style of beer sampled and the breweries where each of these beers are made. You will get to take tasting notes of beer, cheeses, and chocolates for dessert.
