Unions representing the uniformed services have rejected the Bermuda Government’s proposal of austerity measures.Wayne Furbert, the Minister for the Cabinet Office, said that the Bermuda Public Services Union, Bermuda Industrial Union, and the Bermuda Union of Teachers had all agreed to cost-saving measures effective from August 1 for most public officers.The package will come into effect on September 1 for teachers and principals.The measures include:• Reduction of 10 per cen
