A fundraising drive by the Bermuda Visitor Services Centres has aided a community effort to support restaurant workers hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic.The “Purchase with a Purpose” campaign kicked off May 20 in the run-up to Bermuda Day and ran through June 30.Residents to show pride by buying official Bermuda merchandise from the centres, operated by the Bermuda Tourism Authority.For every sale, 25 per cent went to “Serving the Servers” – a relief project set up by Thomas Olunloyo
