Police Investigate Incidents Of Stolen Boats In Prospect Loop Cayman Islands

The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS) confirmed today that just after 8 am on Thursday, February 8, police were dispatched to a report of two stolen boats in the Prospect area of George Town.

The RCIPS said that one of the boats, a white 27ft Key West Centre Console with two 150hp Yamaha engines, was stolen from a vacant land in Prospect. The stolen boat was recovered just after 4:30 pm on the same day on South Sound Road following police investigations into the incident.

The second boat a white centre console18ft Boston Whaler with a dark coloured 115hp Evinrude E-Tech engine and a green and white Bimini top remain outstanding at this time.
