Gilbert McLean is the new NRA board chairman Loop Cayman Islands

According to a publication in the Cayman Islands Gazette on January 20, 2023, Cabinet has now appointed Mr Gilbert McLean as the new chairman of the board of directors of the National Roads Authority (“NRA”).

McLean, who is no stranger to having top roles, is a former educator, talk show host, and politician (having served as the Minister for Health, Agriculture, Aviation, District Administration and Works), has been appointed for a period of three years, through to December 31, 2025.

Also joining McLean as new NRA board members are Mr Dominique Williams, Ms Decia M. Foster, and Mr Peter Campbell. Their appointments are also for three-year periods.

The new appointees replace directors who stepped down in the fourth quarter of 2022.
