George Town man charged with five offenses | Loop Cayman Islands

The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS) said that a 25-year-old man of George Town was re-arrested on June 17 in relation to an incident that originally took place on May 27 where the man was arrested on suspicion of possession and consumption of ganja, causing fear or provocation of violence and other related offences.

According to the RCIPS, he had been bailed for enquires to continue and on June 17 was re-arrested before being formally charged on June 19 with Conspiracy to Supply a Controlled Drug, Conspiracy to Possess Firearms, Possession of Ammunition and two counts of Threats to Kill.

The man was subsequently admitted to George Town Hospital but was represented in court on Monday, June 20 where he was remanded in custody until June 28.
