The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS) is advising the public that the area between Claude Hill Road and the CNB Roundabout, a section of Elgin Avenue has been closed since Friday and will remain closed to vehicular traffic until 8:00pm on Sunday, April 18.

According to the RCIPS, the purpose of the partial road closure is to facilitate the continued installation of underground Electrical ducts in the area.

During the above period, the Eastbound lane on Elgin Avenue will be diverted through Claude Hill Road, and the Westbound lane will be allowed access to business premises up to the vicinity of Cricket Square. However, motorists travelling in the area should expect minor delays and should, if possible, avoid the area during these times.

The RCIPS thanks the public for their co-operation.
