Public Health has now released the below COVID-19 figures for April 4.

Positive cases

Positive casesreported to Public Health during the period were as follows:

02/04/2022: 32

03/04/2022: 42

Active cases

There are 596 estimated active cases of COVID-19 in the Cayman Islands.


Three patients are currently hospitalisedfor COVID related causes and of these, one is unvaccinated

Rolling average

The 7-day rolling average for 4 April is 43.

Sister Islands

The Sister Islands also noted three new cases since their last report, bringing total cases since the beginning of the pandemic to 660.
