Colombian officials say top FARC leader killed


BOGOTA, Colombia (AP) — Two senior Colombian officials say the top leader of the country’s main leftist rebel group has been killed in a military raid. They say Alfonso Cano was killed Friday in Cauca state during an air and ground assault by Colombia’s military. A $5 million reward had been out for Cano, who was the commander of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia.
