The Embassy of Jamaica in Cuba issued a notice that, as of Friday, April 15, 2022, parents who have already obtained an appointment for a tourist visa do not have to request a separate appointment for their minor children.

From the foregoing, effective date, minors (less than 18-years-old) may accompany their parents on the same day that the parents have a visa appointment. In connection with this, the Embassy of Jamaica in Cuba will now cancel its system of granting separate visa appointments for minors.

In relation to its opening times, the Embassy of Jamaica in Cuba noted that it will remain closed on Monday, April 18, 2022 to celebrate Easter Monday, having also being closed on Friday, April 15 to celebrate Good Friday. The Embassy will resume its normal functions on Tuesday, April 19, 2022.
