Cayman Connection launches initiative to recognise Caymanians abroad | Loop Cayman Islands

According to their website, Cayman Connection is a not-for-profit organisation registered in the United Kingdom and the Cayman Islands which does activities in support of Caymanians overseas. It is also an affiliate of the Cayman Islands Government and works along with the Cayman Islands Government Office in the UK, partners, sponsors and volunteers.

One of the newest initiatives being launched by Cayman Connection is the “Making Waves Awards,” which will celebrate high-performing Caymanians overseas.

Cayman Connection explained that the “Making Waves Awards” will recognise Caymanians studying, working and living abroad who have made outstanding contributions to, and excelled in their respective fields at a regional or global level.

Reacting to the announcement of the new initiative, Ms Kate Kandiah, Executive Director of Cayman Connection said:

We are thrilled to shine a spotlight on the achievements of Caymanians overseas. There are so many exceptional people that promote our community and share ‘Caymankind’ globally.
