Huge congratulations to all our members and supporters in Cayman for 10 years of service to the industry and the community in Cayman. I’m so proud of all you’ve accomplished – and look forward to celebrating with you all at the Annual Gala in May.
Walkers Cayman Managing Partner, Tim Buckley stated that “as a long-term sponsor of the 100WF Barefoot Beach Gala, Walkers is delighted to continue our support of this must-attend event and the important work carried out through the ‘100WF Investing in the Next Generation’ initiative, which encourages local pre-career women to pursue jobs in the finance industry.”
This aligns with our belief that investing in people and inspiring the next generation is key to our firm and the industry as a whole. We’d also like to take this opportunity to congratulate 100WF on your tenth year in the Cayman Islands!
Since its launch in 2012 in the Cayman Islands, 100WF has raised over $300,000 for local charities, including the Cayman Islands Crisis Centre, Literacy Is For Everyone, Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Breast Cancer Foundation, Inclusion Cayman, and GirlForce 100, the organization’s flagship youth mentoring program designed for female students who demonstrate the requisite potential, ambition, and commitment to further their education and careers. Through paired career mentorship, GirlForce 100 guides mentees in the development and progression of their career paths leading them to success.
